The life of a parole officer is often hectic. The average work load for a parole officer is between 80 and 120 active cases. It is your job, as a parole officer to maintain contact with a legal offender once they have been released from institutional custody. The goal of this contact is to assist them in finding social, emotional, and financial support so the chance of returning to crime is reduced.
