Law Enforcement Training
If you enjoy working with a team and like assisting the public, law enforcement training might be for you.
Training Qualifications In order to begin training in law enforcement you need to be at least twenty years of age and a United States citizen. There are many physical qualifications you will need to meet as well. These include vision, hearing, strength, and agility tests. Personalitytesting and background checks are usually performed as well.
Programs and Coursework Picking the right program is very important. You will need to decide on the pace of the program that will suit you best and the degree you are aiming for before selecting a training program. Some of the common courses during law enforcement training are in accounting, finance, computer science, and physical education. You can also expect training in corrections, criminal investigations, interviewing, and leadership. Some programs offer education in a foreign language.
Training Locations There are classes in law enforcement training being offered nationwide. Some programs supply virtual learning with the use of video teleconferencing. This may provide a more flexible and convenient way for you to get your law enforcement training.
A Great Choice With attractive salaries and benefit packages, law enforcement is a very competitive sector to get into. If you want to be a US marshal, an FBI agent, or a state trooper, law enforcement training is where you need to start.
